Sensitivity issues all depends how sensitive is your teeth.
I have seen patients who are not even sensitive even if half of their tooth is worn off,
But i have seen few of them complaining of sensitivity on intact tooth.
If your tooth are hypersensitive, dont go for it.
If it is normal, you can go ahead.
If you really want to be care full, try agents with less concentration of hydrogen peroxide.

Whether an implant can be placed depends on how much bone is there. A really long time between the tooth and having the implant can jeopardize it, but a few years probably isn’t an issue.
